Nicole says that coding is another way for students to express themselves in the digital realm.
She mentioned that coding is something librarians can add to a rotation station, including a digital rotation during this pandemic.
Students love the immediate feedback they get from coding.
Elementari is a website platform for K-12 students. There is a free and paid version of this website.

She wants to help people combine coding and literacy. They are combined in the real world. Her website is built for storytelling purposes. She uses a node based visual coding environment that looks like a flowchart (flow based programming). Elementari is an authoring tool that allows you to create and publish things ranging from static picture books to games.
