A Network of Like-Minded People All around the World
Updated: Dec 30, 2019

The Librarian Influencers blog is 7 months old and the podcast is 5 months old. It has been such an exciting time for me to kick off this dream. I thought I’d share some highlights from this past year.

I get excited when I study reports about site visitors. When I see these reports I actually picture amazing SCHOOL LIBRARIANS with BIG HEARTS who are working hard to MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY in the lives of their students and teachers. That makes me SMILE BIG! The blog has been seen in 68 countries across the world. The majority of visitors are from the United States of America, Canada, and Australia. If I focus on my own country, we’ve had visitors from all 50 states in America. The most American site visitors are from Texas, California, and New York. I hope this helps you as the reader see that you have a network of like-minded people all around the world who share your passion for the role we play in school libraries.
The hot topics this year with over 4,000 views total are:
What I can see from these topics is that we as librarians need a space to learn about common everyday issues we all face. I hope you find this website and related social media sites to be that kind of support for you. Let’s continue to support one another and build each other up.

The podcast is going strong with over 4,500 downloads. If you haven’t listened to any of them yet, I encourage you to find some "me time" and listen to a few. You’ll hear everyday librarians offering best practice tips. Since we’ve only been online for 5 months, it’s no surprise that the most played podcasts are some of the earliest ones. They’ve been around the longest and have had the most opportunity for play time. At this point in time the 3 most played podcasts have a total of almost 1,000 downloads together:
